Catalina Island

During Lance's spring break this year, we used an awesome Groupon that Josh and Erin found to take a boat ride out to Catalina Island for a couple days and then ride back.  My mom watched Ellie for us and we had such an amazing time just the two of us!  While we love our little girl SO much, it was nice to be able to sleep through the night for a couple days :).  We stayed in Avalon on the island and had a ton of fun exploring that little town.  We went snorkeling the first day (too bad, no pics!) and saw a ton of Garibaldis swimming around and lots of other fish I don't know the names of.  The second day we went hiking for most of the day and found this trail that took us up high enough to see both sides of the island at the same time.  Lance was sure he saw a whale... (it was like a little tiny dot).  But anyways, we had a ton of fun enjoying nature and each other's company.
